Making a change
Making a change
Have you ever thought about eating insects to save the planet from food waste? Me Neither! That is the reason why I want to suggest some ways to save the planet that do not include bug carcasses sliding down your throat. YOU can do so with three simple and affordable habits like changing some cooking habits, conserving food properly, and substituting meat with other proteins.
Firstly I can surely tell you that you don’t have to give up on meat or Sunday’s barbeque you scheduled with uncle Mike to stop food waste. In fact, there are many more ways you can do so from your own home, for example putting thought while you go shopping for groceries because overbuying is a real problem, and avoiding it can make the difference.

Secondly, did you know that 40% of all foods require refrigeration? and that is crucial information because imagine how much food you threw away because it was spoiled when it could have lasted one more week in a fridge. For comparison on average milk can last 2-3 days at room temperature without going spoiled but if given proper refrigeration it can last up to a week which nearly doubles the original time.
I think that shows clearly the importance of correct food preservation.

The proteins are obtained from a vegetable source but Beyond Meat doesn’t stop here and they pay a lot of attention to detail, In fact, they mimicked the red fat that leaks out of the meat using beetroot juice which matches the color. (Our Products)
In conclusion, no one has a valid reason not to do their part in stopping food waste so Why not make the first step and try using meat substitutes.
